Pittsburgh at Chi. Cubs, ppd., rain

CHICAGO, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Following a delay of more than 90 minutes, Friday's game between he Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates at Wrigley Field was postponed.

The game, which spoiled potentially the start of what the Cubs hope will be the biggest weekend at Wrigley in more than a decade, was rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon.

In Saturday's first game, it will be the Cubs' Mark Prior (17-6) facing Josh Fogg (10-8). Matt Clement (13-12) will oppose Ryan Vogelson (2-1) in the nightcap.

The Cubs head into the final weekend of the season tied with Houston for first place in the National League Central Division. Chicago made the playoffs as a wild card in 1998, but has not won a division title since '89.

The Astros continue a four-game series against Milwaukee on Friday night. Houston won the series opener Thursday while Chicago lost its series finale at Cincinnati, creating the first-place tie.

Should the teams finish tied, the Cubs will host a one-game playoff on Monday.
