LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Sept. 20 (UPI) -- Cedric Cobbs had two touchdown runs and 18th-ranked Arkansas scored three TDs in a 2:40 span of the second quarter Saturday to coast past North Texas, 31-7.

The Razorbacks (3-0) posted their biggest win in Houston Nutt's six-year tenure as coach when they surprised Texas, 38-28 last week. But there was no letdown against struggling North Texas (1-3), which has allowed 102 points in its three defeats.

Backup quarterback Ryan Sorahan completed a 39-yard pass to George Wilson, setting up a one-yard TD run by De'Arrius Howard to make it 17-7 with 4:01 left in the period.

Andrew Smith fumbled on the next possession and the Razorbacks' Desmond Sims recovered at the 26. Matt Jones followed with a 26-yard TD pass to Wilson.
