DARLINGTON, S.C., Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Brian Vickers beat Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Busch in Saturday's NASCAR Winn-Dixie 200 at Darlington Raceway.

Vickers, who recorded his first career Busch Series win earlier this month, won with an average speed of 114.744 miles per hour and finished 1.977 seconds ahead of Busch.

The combined age for both drivers is just 37. Vickers is 19 and Busch 18.

"When you add their age together, it doesn't equal what I am," said 40-year-old Michael Waltrip, who finished third. "They don't know any better. They just get in the car and get on it. The race car doesn't know how old the driver is.

Waltrip was followed by Bobby Hamilton Jr. and pole winner Kevin Harvick.

NASCAR Busch Series points leader Scott Riggs finished 17th but continues to lead the Busch Series points standings.
