Friday's NFL Exhibition Roundup

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Philadelphia may have paid a big price physically in its 24-12 preseason loss to New England Friday night.

The Eagles suffered four key injuries, including wide receiver James Thrash, who landed hard on the back of his head and neck trying to catch a pass thrown by Donovan McNabb in the second quarter.

"You never want anything to happen to a guy like that, especially in the preseason," said McNabb. "It is good that he is fine and we have to keep moving on and be ready for the regular season."

X-rays at the stadium were negative, but the team has no idea when their leading receiver from last season will be able to play again. He was walking around the locker room in street clothes after the game.

Also injured were defensive tackle Paul Grasmanis (concussion), linebacker Carlos Emmons (high ankle sprain), and rookie defensive end Jamaal Green (fractured his right ankle).

Elsewhere, it was Miami 30, Atlanta 21; Minnesota 21, Oakland 6; and Arizona 27, Chicago 17.
