MONTREAL, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Brad Wilkerson's grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth Sunday lifted the Montreal Expos to a 4-2 triumph over the San Francisco Giants.

San Francisco starter Sidney Ponson (0-3) cruised through the first eight innings. In the ninth, he got the first out before Jose Vidro doubled and Vladimir Guerrero walked. Orlando Cabrera walked on a 3-2 pitch and Giants Manager Felipe Alou turned to closer Tim Worrell.

Worrell got Wil Cordero to swing through a high 3-2 fastball, but fell behind who grooved a 3-2 pitch over center/

The blown save resulted in San Francisco's fifth straight loss. The Giants have dropped 11 of 17.

Wilkerson's 14th homer of the season was just his 14th hit in his last 67 at-bats.
