FOXBORO, Mass., July 27 (UPI) -- Eliseo Quintanilla scored twice Sunday as DC United scored four unanswered second half goals to beat the New England Revolution, 4-2.
Taylor Twellman netted both goals for the Revolution in a span of five minutes for an advantage that lasted until the 83rd when Quintanilla reduced the handicap with his first marker of the season.
In the closing minutes the Revolution defense broke down again as United stormed to three more goals. The first came a minute into added time and it was Quintanilla who converted a penalty kick after Marco Etcheverry was tripped in the penalty area.
Rookie Alecko Eskandarian set up Dema Kovalenko for the winner three minutes into stoppage time and scored another in the final moments to complete the scoring.
