KITZBUHEL, Austria, July 21 (UPI) -- Sweden's Andreas Vinciguerra will meet Guillermo Coria at the Generali Open after Monday's victory over German qualifier Oliver Gross.

Vinciguerra defeated Gross, 6-4, 6-4, at this $1.015 million claycourt event to advance to the second round at an ATP tournament for the first time since Copenhagen in February.

The 22-year-old from Malmo next faces Coria, the second-seeded Argentine who won his second title of the year Sunday in Stuttgart.

Michel Kratochvil of Switzerland beat Julien Boutter of France, 6-3, 6-3, and Romania's Victor Hanescu beat Austrian Markus Hipfl, 6-4, 6-0, after a rain delay of 3 hours, 14 minutes in the second set.

Two other Austrians lost Monday as France's Paul-Henri Mathieu routed Ingo Neumuller, 6-2, 6-2, and Czech qualifier Frantisek Cermak downed Jurgen Melzer, 7-5, 6-2.
