The 36-year-old Price has won twice on the European Tour, both times in Portugal.

Price is best known for what he did at this course last year, defeating Phil Mickelson in a singles match at the Ryder Cup to help Europe to victory.

Price beat his playing partner, Clarke, by three strokes.

Cabrera birdied seven of his last 11 holes and had a 66. Sandelin holed a 30-foot eagle putt en route to a 67 while Forsyth carded a 69.
