Tampa Bay 8, Anaheim 6

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 30 (UPI) -- Tampa Bay erased a three-run deficit by scoring three times in the sixth inning and three more times in the seventh Friday night en route to a 8-6 triumph over the Anaheim Angels.

The Angels won the World Series last season with timely hitting, but it was the Devil Rays who used a series of clutch hits to rally against Anaheim starter John Lackey (3-5).
