USC dismisses player from women's team

LOS ANGELES, April 17 (UPI) -- Southern California has dismissed junior guard Aisha Hollans from the women's basketball team, citing infractions of team policies over the past three years.

Hollans has been given the option to maintain her scholarship and complete her senior year at USC or transfer. She was a three-year starter and averaged 14.3 points and 5.7 rebounds.
