Milwaukee 91, Miami 86

MIAMI, March 31 (UPI) -- Gary Payton and Sam Cassell each scored 20 points Monday night as the Milwaukee Bucks swept their home-and-home series with the Miami Heat with a 91-86 victory.

The Bucks cruised to a 109-87 home victory over the Heat on Sunday, when Payton scored 24 points and Cassell added 23.

With Monday's win, Milwaukee (36-39) opened a one-game lead over Washington for eighth place in the NHL East. The teams are even in the loss column.

Cassell nailed a 3-pointer with 4:04 left as the Bucks closed the game on a 14-6 run and snapped their four-game road skid.

Eddie House scored a season-high 21 points off the bench, but the Heat lost for the ninth time in 11 games.
