
CLEARWATER, Fla., March 16 (UPI) -- Ricky Ledee smacked a go-ahead, two-run triple during a three-run seventh inning Sunday as the Philadelphia Phillies rallied late for a 12-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins.
The Phillies trailed, 5-4, before Ledee tripled off loser Jeromy Palki. Philadelphia added a run in the seventh and five more in the eighth to finish the scoring.
Todd Pratt hit a three-run homer during a four-run second inning for the Phillies, who totaled 16 hits against seven different. Tyler Houston and rookie center fielder Marlon Byrd had two RBI apiece.
Veteran lefthander Dan Plesac picked up the win in relief, despite allowing a run in his only inning. Phils starter Kevin Millwood yielded three runs and five hits with a walk and two strikeouts in five innings.
Palki surrendered three runs and four hits in one inning. Everett Stull added fuel to the fire, giving up five runs and five hits without recording an out in the eighth.
Twins starter Adam Johnson yielded four runs in two frames.
Matt LeCroy went three for four with two runs scored for Minnesota.
