Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

TUCSON, March 15 (UPI) -- Mark Buehrle picked up his third win of spring training Saturday as the Chicago White Sox cruised to an 8-1 victory over a split squad of Milwaukee Brewers.
Buehrle allowed just two hits and two walks in four scoreless innings. He had two strikeouts.
Milwaukee scored its only run when Dave Krynzel homered off Rick White in the fifth inning.
Carlos Lee, Tony Graffanino and Anthony Sanders homered for the White Sox. No player had more than one hit for Chicago.
Milwaukee starter Francisco Campos took the loss, allowing six runs -- one earned -- along with five hits and a walk in four innings. Five of the runs came in the first inning.
