
TEMPE, Ariz., March 11 (UPI) -- Chone Figgins went 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run scored Tuesday as the Anaheim Angels edged the San Francisco Giants, 5-4.
Figgins produced the go-ahead run with a double down the left field line off Chad Zerbe in the bottom of the sixth.
Anaheim's Brandon Emanuel, Eric Cyr and Brendan Donnelly each pitched a perfect inning thereafter to close out the game. Scott Schoeneweis picked up the victory despite yielding four runs and six hits in two innings.
Angels starter Mickey Callaway allowed just two hits in four scoreless innings, striking out four batters without a walk. Giants counterpart Kurt Ainsworth gave up one run and three hits in four innings.
Tim Salmon had two RBI and Garret Anderson one for the Angels, who had lost their previous four contests.
Ruben Rivera went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored for San Francisco.
