MELBOURNE, Fla., March 1 (UPI) -- Javier Vazquez tossed three scoreless innings and Brad Wilkerson and Scott Hodges had two RBI apiece Saturday as the Montreal Expos posted a 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Vazquez, who said this week that he harbored no hard feelings toward the Expos after they beat him in an arbitration hearing last month, allowed two hits, did not walk a batter and struck out two.
Wilkerson had a single and sacrifice fly while Hodges hit his first home run of the spring. Randy Knorr had two hits and Endy Chavez scored twice for Montreal.
Wilson Alvarez started for Los Angeles and allowed two runs and three hits in three innings. He walked one and uncorked a wild pitch in his bid to make the team as a non-roster player.
Rodney Myers allowed a pair of unearned runs in the eighth and was charged with the loss.
The Dodgers had just three hits.
