Florida has not lost at home since a two-point setback to Kentucky on Jan. 29, 2002. The victory tied the school record for regular-season wins, set by the 1993-94 team and matched by the 1999-2000 squad, both of which reached the Final Four.

Rolando Howell scored 16 points and Kerbrell Brown netted 10 as the Gamecocks (11-13, 3-8) lost their second straight following a four-game winning streak.
