Marquette 75, Charlotte 67

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Dwayne Wade scored 21 points and Robert Jackson added 15 Thursday night to lead the 12th-ranked Marquette Golden Eagles to a 75-67 victory over Charlotte.

The win moved Marquette (19-4, 10-2 C-USA American) ahead of Louisville into the lead in their division. Louisville beat the Golden Eagles last Saturday to snap Marquette's 28-game home winning streak, but the Cardinals fell to Memphis on Wednesday night and Marquette took advantage.

Marquette will play in Louisville on Feb. 27.

Wade had been averaging 14.6 points and shooting 33 percent from the field in his previous five games.

Demon Brown led Charlotte (10-13, 5-6) with 22 points.
