
TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Mike Fisher scored a goal and set up two others and Martin Havlat and defenseman Wade Redden each had a goal and an assist Tuesday night as the Ottawa Senators rolled to a 6-3 victory over Tampa Bay and extended their unbeaten streak against the Lightning to 10 games.
Fisher opened the scoring at 8:16 of the first period with his eighth goal of the season.

Skating down the right wing, Havlat circled around the net and pushed the puck to Fisher, who one-timed a shot from the slot past goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin.
Coming off a 3-2 loss to Nashville, the Senators scored twice in the first two minutes of the second period to open a 3-0 lead and chase Khabibulin, who made 13 saves.
Defenseman Curtis Leschyshyn added two assists and Patrick Lalime stopped 23 shots for his 99th win with Ottawa, which improved to 6-1-1-0 in its last eight games.
