Maple Leafs claim Druken off waivers

TORONTO, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Harold Druken will join his third team of the season after the Toronto Maple Leafs claimed the center off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday.

Druken had one assist in 10 games with the Hurricanes after being acquired from the Vancouver Canucks in a four-player deal on Nov. 1.

The 23-year-old Druken has 27 goals and 30 assists in 128 career games. He had 30 points in 55 games in the 2000-01 campaign, but was limited to just 27 games last season after suffering an ankle injury in December.
