Kentucky 76, Tulane 60

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Keith Bogans had 17 of his 21 points in the opening half Tuesday night as 12th-ranked Kentucky bolted to an early lead and cruised past Tulane, 76-60.

Bogans was 6-of-9 from the field, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range, in the first half as Kentucky made 19-of-32 shots en route to a 45-26 lead after 20 minutes. Bogans passed Johnny Cox for 17th place on the Wildcats' all-time scoring list with 1,471 points.

Bogans' five 3-pointers moved him past Travis Ford and into fourth place on the school's all-time list with 189.

Jules Camara had 12 points and Marquis Estill and Gerald Fitch 10 each for Kentucky (5-1), which shot 55 percent from the field, including 9-of-16 from 3-point range.

Waitari Marsh led Tulane (3-5) with 19 points and Nick Sinville and Brandon Spahn each added 12.
