NY Rangers 4, Tampa Bay 3

NEW YORK, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Pavel Bure scored the tying goal with 2:48 left and Ronald Petrovicky tallied the game-winner 18 seconds later to lift the New York Rangers to a 4-3 victory Sunday over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

New York appeared headed toward its third loss to Tampa Bay this season when Martin St. Louis scored his 14th goal on the power play at 14:43 of the third period to give the Lightning a 3-2 advantage. But Bure completed a 3-on-2 with his second goal of the game and 11th of the season.

Petrovicky put a rebound past Lightning goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin to give the Rangers a second straight home win.

Petr Nedved scored his 10th goal and collected two assists for New York, which won for the fifth time in its last six home games.

Ruslan Fedotenko tallied his sixth goal on the power play and Andre Roy notched his fifth for Tampa Bay, which dropped to 1-4-1 in its past six contests.
