SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Markus Naslund scored a power-play goal and set up two others Saturday night as the Vancouver Canucks extended their franchise-record winning streak to 10 games with a 5-2 victory over the Florida Panthers.
With the Canucks on their third power play of the opening period, Naslund got a rebound and beat Jani Hurme from the top of the right faceoff circle for his 15th goal of the season and a 3-1 lead.
Naslund also had assists on power-play tallies by Todd Bertuzzi in the second period and defenseman Sami Salo 2:47 into the third.
Vancouver scored three power-play goals for the third time during the NHL's longest winning streak of the season. The St. Louis Blues had a nine-game run from Oct. 15-Nov. 5.
Brendan Morrison and Matt Cooke staked Vancouver to a 2-0 lead before Jaroslav Bednar flipped in a rebound for his first goal as a Panther.
Marcus Nilson had the other goal for Florida, which had a four-game unbeaten streak snapped but has just one win in its last 10 games (1-2-5-2).
