TORONTO, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Alexander Mogilny scored a goal and set up the other two Saturday night as the Toronto Maple Leafs extended their home winning streak to four games with a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

A Sabre for his first six NHL seasons, Mogilny has a goal and five assists during a three-game points streak. He helped set up Mats Sundin, who broke a 1-1 deadlock 2:43 into the second period and ended a seven-game goal-scoring drought.

Toronto's Ed Belfour made 19 saves en route to his 374th career win, tying him with John Vanbiesbrouck for eighth on the NHL's all-time list.

The Sabres had a chance to climb within a goal in the third period, but J.P. Dumont's point-blank shot rolled down Belfour's back, got caught in the goaltender's equipment and finally was cleared by defenseman Tomas Kaberle.

Curtis Brown tallied for Buffalo, which has scored just one goal in five of its last seven games and is 1-8-1-1 in the last 11.
