New Orleans 97, Cleveland 84

CLEVELAND, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Baron Davis scored 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter Saturday night as the New Orleans Hornets handed the Cleveland Cavaliers their 10th straight loss, 97-84.

New Orleans took a nine-point lead into the final period and Davis hit two three-pointers in the first four minutes of the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 82-69.

David Wesley paced the Hornets with 20 points and made a three-pointer with 30 seconds to go before halftime that put them ahead for good, 47-45.

New Orleans is 8-0 at home and improved to 2-3 on the road.

Ricky Davis scored 24 points and rookie Carlos Boozer chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland.

The Cavaliers were without starters Tyrone Hill (flu) and Jumaine Jones, a late scratch, and lost their fourth consecutive home game.
