Los Angeles 2, Minnesota 2 (OT)

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Dwayne Roloson held on to defenseman Mathieu Schneider's shot with two seconds left in overtime Tuesday night to preserve a 2-2 tie for the Minnesota Wild against the Los Angeles Kings.

Roloson made 33 saves, including the awkward clincher, which bounced off his shoulder before falling into his glove. Los Angeles was on the power play after Minnesota was penalized for having too many men on the ice with 29 seconds left.

After posting a 1-0 victory over Washington on Saturday, Roloson made back-to-back starts for the first time this season.

Sergei Zholtok scored the tying goal early in the third period and had an assist to reach 200 career points. He came close to getting a game-winner with just under five minutes left in the third period but hit the goalpost with a wrist shot from the left faceoff dot.

Zholtok, who is riding a four-game points streak, has come into his own with Minnesota. He has totaled 54 of his 200 points since coming over in a trade with Edmonton after the 2000-01 season. Marian Gaborik, who scored Minnesota's other goal, and Cliff Ronning are the only Wild players with more points than Zholtok.

Ziggy Palffy started the scoring for the Kings with 84 seconds left in the first period when he skated into the crease and poked the puck into the net after defenseman Chris McAlpine's shot slipped between Roloson's pads.

The goal was Palffy's 100th for Los Angeles and gave the Kings the first of two one-goal leads.
