Toronto 108, Golden State 107

EL PASO, Texas, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Antonio Davis scored 21 points to lead a balanced attack as the Toronto Raptors held off the Golden State Warriors, 108-107, Tuesday night in an exhibition game.

The game drew 8,500 to the Don Haskins Center. The crowd saw an exciting game, with six players scoring 20 or more points, including high fliers Vince Carter of Toronto and Jason Richardson of Golden State.

Carter and Morris Peterson scored 20 points apiece for Toronto, which shot 49 percent (42-of-85) from the field. Lindsey Hunter had 11 points, Jelani McCoy added 10 and Carter handed out eight assists.

Richardson scored 31 points on 10-of-14 shooting and Antawn Jamison added 29 for Golden State, which shot 45 percent (37-of-83). Troy Murphy had 20 points and 21 rebounds for the Warriors.

Golden State rookie forward Mike Dunleavy, who showed his frustration with his poor shooting in his last game, scored 13 points on 5-of-11 from the floor.

The Raptors held a 108-101 lead with less than 30 seconds to go before Jamison made a 3-pointer to halve the deficit.
