DALLAS, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Marty Turco continued to thrive Tuesday night as the Dallas Stars' new No. 1 goaltender, recording his sixth career shutout in a 3-0 blanking of the Edmonton Oilers.

Turco inherited the starting job after Dallas traded away the rights to veteran Ed Belfour in the offseason. After stopping 21 shots against Edmonton, the University of Michigan product improved to 2
