Air Force 48, Navy 7

COLORADO SPRINGS, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Quarterback Chance Harridge rushed for a career-high four touchdowns Saturday as 25th-ranked Air Force remained undefeated and continued its dominance in the Commander-in-Chief's series with a 48-7 rout of Navy.

The Falcons (5-0) are off to their best start since opening the 1997 season with seven straight victories. They have won 11 straight games against the service academies dating to 1996.

Air Force has won the Commander-In-Chief's Trophy 12 of the last 13 years and 15 times under Coach Fisher DeBerry.

Navy had a 7-3 lead after the first quarter, but Air Force responded with 45 unanswered points. The Falcons had three touchdowns in the second quarter, including scoring runs of seven and one yard by Harridge.

The Midshipmen (1-4) have allowed 205 points in their last four games, all losses.
