HUNT VALLEY, Md., June 23 (UPI) -- J.C. Snead became the 11th player to win a Senior PGA Tour event beyond the age of 60 Sunday, capturing the Greater Baltimore Classic when playing partner Rodger Davis double-bogeyed the final hole.

Snead carded a 2-under-par 70 for a 54-hole total of 13-under 203, one stroke better than Doug Tewell, Bobby Wadkins and John Mahaffey. He appeared headed to a playoff before Davis collapsed on the final hole.

A 50-year-old Australian playing his 22nd Senior Tour event, Davis double-bogeyed the par-5 18th at the Hayfields Country Club and tied for fifth at 205.

Snead earned his fourth Senior title and first since 1995. At 60 years, 8 months and 8 days, he became the sixth-oldest player to win on the elder circuit and the first 60-something since Jim Colbert at last year's SBC Senior Classic.
