Bonds NL PLayer of Week

NEW YORK, May 20 (UPI) -- San Francisco Giants outfielder Barry Bonds, who hit three more home runs during the period, Monday was named National League Player of the Week.

In six games, Bonds was 10-for-17 with two doubles, a triple and scored seven runs. The 10-time All-Star is tied for the NL lead with 15 homers and leads the league in batting (.386), runs (36), walks (55), slugging percentage (.921) and on-base percentage (.615).
