SAN FRANCISCO, May 15 (UPI) -- Ryan Jensen ran his home scoreless innings streak to 21 with eight strong innings Tuesday night and Reggie Sanders snapped a scoreless tie with a two-run single in the eighth as the San Francisco Giants posted a 2-0 win over the Atlanta Braves.
Jensen (4-2) continued his strong pitching of late and continued to be near-perfect pitching at home. He allowed four singles and a double, did not walk a batter and struck out four.
The 26-year-old righthander is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in three home appearances, and allowed just 11 hits and three walks in 21 innings. In his last three starts overall, Jensen is 3-0, giving up just three runs and 10 hits in 21 1/3 innings.
Robb Nen struck out one in a perfect ninth to notch his 12th save.
Atlanta starter Damian Moss (1-1) allowed two runs and seven hits in seven-plus innings. He struggled with his control, walking six and striking out four.
