MONTREAL, May 9 (UPI) -- Jose Vidro hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the 12th inning Thursday night as the Montreal Expos snapped a six-game losing streak with a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

The Rockies brought the infield in and elected to pitch to Vidro with first base open and Vladimir Guerrero on deck. Vidro responded by lining a 2-2 pitch to left-center field off Rick White (0-4).

Graeme Lloyd (1-2) retired all five batters he faced for the win.
