FRANKFURT, Germany, April 27 (UPI) -- Ola Kimrin kicked three field goals Saturday night as the Frankfurt Galaxy remained unbeaten with a 16-9 victory over the Scottish Claymores.
Kimrin kicked second-half field goals of 24, 27 and 37 yards, helping the Galaxy (3-0) remain the league's lone remaining unbeaten team. Frankfurt is off to its best start since winning its first four games in 1996.
Curtis Alexander, NFL Europe's leading rusher, scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter for the Galaxy. Alexander finished with 75 yards on 19 carries.
Frankfurt quarterback Joey Hamilton went 18 of 32 for 237 yards and an interception. Jimi Redmond was his favorite target, catching six passes for 124 yards.
Lawrence Tynes kicked field goals of 42 and 37 yards and Rob Hart connected from 32 yards for the Claymores (1-2).
