Atlanta 128, Cleveland 123 (2OT)

ATLANTA, April 13 (UPI) -- Jason Terry scored seven of his 43 points in the second overtime and added 10 assists as the Atlanta Hawks outlasted the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday night, 128-123.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim collected 36 points and 12 rebounds as Atlanta received major production from its two best players.

Abdur-Rahim sealed the victory with two foul shots with 15 seconds left.

Abdur-Rahim gave Atlanta the lead for good at 122-119 with a three-point play with just under two minutes left. Terry scored a spinning layup for a five-point cushion with 1:27 remaining.

Terry assisted on a basket by Ira Newble for a 126-123 lead with 21 seconds left and Cleveland had one final chance. Atlanta guard DerMarr Johnson blocked Ricky Davis' 3-point attempt to end the Cavaliers' hopes.

Newble and Hanno Mottola had double-doubles for Atlanta, which picked up its first overtime win of the year. Newble had 17 and 12 rebounds while Mottola added 12 and 12.

Andre Miller made two free throws with six seconds left in regulation for a 105-102 lead for Cleveland. But Terry received a jarring pick from Newble and nailed a 3-pointer with less than a second left to send the game into overtime.
