Columbus puts Dineen on injured reserve

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 30 (UPI) -- Columbus Blue Jackets right wing Kevin Dineen, who separated a rib in Thursday's game with Vancouver, was placed on injured reserve on Saturday.

Dineen scored his fourth goal of the season in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Canucks before suffering the injury. The 38-year-old has eight assists and 12 points in 58 games this season.

In other moves, the Blue Jackets recalled center Andrej Nedorost and right wing Chris Nielsen from Syracuse of the American Hockey League. It is Nielsen's third stint with the Blue Jackets this season.
