Orlando 114, Indiana 106

ORLANDO, Fla., March 29 (UPI) -- Tracy McGrady had 29 points and Monty Williams added 19 and 10 rebounds Friday night as the Orlando Magic avoided a season sweep at the hands of the Indiana Pacers, 114-106.

Jermaine O'Neal, who averaged 18.3 points and 10.7 rebounds in the Pacers' three wins this season over the Magic, served the first of a two-game suspension for his role in an altercation with Detroit's Corliss Williamson on Tuesday night.

Orlando moved into fourth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race, a half game ahead of Milwaukee. Meanwhile, the Pacers continued to cling to the final postseason spot despite losing for the fourth time in the last five games.

The Magic owned a 91-69 advantage to start the fourth quarter. But the Pacers scored the opening 14 points of the period to slice their deficit to eight.

Mike Miller contributed 15 points in 29 minutes off the bench in his return from an ankle injury as Orlando posted its 11th home win in the last 12 games.
