Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

WINTER HAVEN, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- Milton Bradley and Omar Vizquel each had two hits and two RBI Wednesday to lead a 17-hit attack and bring the Cleveland Indians an 11-5 victory over a split squad of New York Yankees.
Bradley, who is slated to be the Indians starting center fielder, had an RBI double in a three-run second inning and a solo homer in a four-run fourth off Yankees starter Ted Lilly, who yielded five runs and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings.
Karim Garcia hit a two-run homer and Earl Snyder added a solo homer, his third home run of the spring, in the eighth for Cleveland.
C.C. Sabathia started for the Indians and allowed one hit in four innings to earn the win.
Erick Almonte had two hits and two RBI for New York.
