MARYVALE, Ariz., March 10 (UPI) -- Geoff Jenkins had two hits, including a bases-clearing double in the second inning, as the Milwaukee Brewers posted an 11-8 victory over the Seattle Mariners in a split-squad game.

Lenny Harris belted a two-run homer and had a solo shot, and Tyler Houston collected a pair of doubles as the Brewers tallied 11 hits.

Glendon Rusch (1-1) picked up the win, despite yielding six runs -- two earned -- and five hits in 2 2/3 innings.

Ichiro Suzuki led off the game with a solo homer for the Mariners, who put together a five-run rally in the third but stalled in the ninth after scoring twice.

John Halama (0-1) was roughed up for eight runs and six hits in two innings. He struck out three and walked five.
