TEMPE, Ariz., March 9 (UPI) -- The San Diego Padres recorded a 9-4 Cactus League victory over Anaheim Angels Saturday in a game that featured two brawls and six ejections.

All six ejections came in the opening inning, when Aaron Sele hit Ryan Klesko to touch off a benches-clearing brawl. In the bottom of the inning, Padres starter Bobby Jones hit Angels slugger Troy Glaus, touching off another fight.

In between, the Padres' Phil Nevin homered to stake his team to a 2-0 lead. Nevin, Jones, Klesko and San Diego manager Bruce Bochy were ejected, as were Glaus and third baseman Scott Spiezio.

Pete Incaviglia homered and drove in two runs and promising prospect Ramon Vazquez hit his second homer of the spring in the ninth.

Sele allowed two runs and two hits in three innings. Garret Anderson had a double, scored one run and drove in another.
