Like all NFL teams, the Packers need to get under the $71.1 million spending limit by Friday.

The 30-year-old Harris has started at middle linebacker for the Packers since 1997. Last season, he had 130 tackles to lead the team for the fourth time in the last five years. He also collected 2 1/2 sacks and intercepted two passes.

Thierry, 30, joined the Packers as an unrestricted free agent before the 2000 season and and has been a starter the last two years. Last season, Thierry had 3 1/2 sacks among 29 tackles.

Dotson, 32, suffered a torn quadriceps that cut short his 2000 season but reclaimed his job as a starter last year, collecting 39 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks.

The 28-year-old Williams, acquired in a trade with New Orleans in 2000, led Green Bay with 17 special teams tackles last season.
