Boston Col 76, Miami. Fla. 63

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Guards Troy Bell and Ryan Sidney combined for 47 points Sunday to lead Boston College to a 76-63 victory over the 1th-ranked Miami (Fla.)Hurricanes in a Big East Conference game.

The loss dropped Miami (20-4) out of first place in the East Division at 7-4, one-half game behind Connecticut. Two of its four losses have come against Boston College (16-7, 5-5 Big East).

Boston College has swept the season series each of the last two years from Miami. In the first meeting Jan. 29 at Miami, Bell scored 25 points and Sidney added 18 in a 70-65 Eagles' victory.

Sunday, Bell had 24 points and Sidney scored 23 as Boston College led by as many as 17 points and never was threatened in the second half.

Marcus Barnes and John Salmons each had 16 for Miami.
