Knight improved to 3-2 in five career meetings with Cowboys coach Eddie Sutton and faced Oklahoma State for the first time.

Melvin Sanders scored 16 points and Maurice Baker added 14 for Oklahoma State, which has suffered consecutive defeats for the first time this season.
