Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Defenseman Darryl Sydor, who has missed the last three games with a concussion, was activated by the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
Sydor was placed on the injured reserve list after suffering the injury in a December 14 game against Calgary.
He has 16 assists with a plus-6 rating in 30 games and was expected to be in uniform for Saturday's game with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
