VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Marco Strum and Vincent Damphousse each had a goal and two assists as the San Jose Sharks extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 5-3 come-from-behind victory over the Vancouver Canucks Saturday night.
Sturm lifted San Jose within 3-2 with 4 1/2 minutes left in the second period and the Sharks carried the momentum into the third to match their longest unbeaten streak of the season (5
Mike Ricci tied it 1:47 into the final period and Teemu Selanne gave San Jose its first lead just over two minutes later.
Patrick Marleau capped the scoring with 9:46 to play, sealing the Sharks' season-high third straight road win.
Damphousse scored his 12th goal on the power play late in the first period and on Selanne's go-ahead tally to help San Jose move three points ahead of second-place Dallas in the Pacific Division.
Donald Brashear, Daniel Sedin and Brendan Morrison tallied for the Canucks, who were unbeaten in the previous four home games against San Jose. But, Vancouver has just one win in the last six overall (1-4-1).
