AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Clifford Robinson scored 23 points to lead five players in double figures Saturday night as the Detroit Pistons dominated the fourth quarter and snapped a two-game slide with a 91-84 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Jerry Stackhouse, one of the NBA's top scorers, is sidelined with a sore groin and has missed the last two games. Detroit felt the All-Star guard's absence in Friday's loss to Atlanta but rebounded against sloppy Memphis.
The Grizzlies closed the third quarter with seven consecutive points to take a 71-66 lead. But the Pistons opened the final quarter with 10 straight points and held Memphis to just 13 in the final 12 minutes.
Jon Barry had 15 points and seven rebounds in place of Stackhouse and Dana Barros, Michael Curry and rookie Zeljko Rebraca scored 14 points apiece for Detroit.
Jason Williams scored a season-high 25 points for Memphis and rookie Shane Battier had 18 points and six rebounds.
Spanish rookie Pau Gasol had 11 points, six rebounds and four blocks for the Grizzlies, who have lost three straight and are winless in six road games.
