CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Forward Chris Williams scored 26 points Friday night to lead No. 11 Virginia to a 105-74 victory over Wagner for its fourth straight season-opening win.

Point guard Roger Mason Jr. added 24 points as Virginia cruised to the easy win, its fifth straight in a home opener.

The Cavaliers shot 59 percent from the floor and held the Seahawks to 33 percent. Jermaine Hall scored 18 points for Wagner, which trailed by 17 points at halftime and never got within single digits thereafter.

Virginia, which went 20-9 last season and lost to Gonzaga 86-85 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, improved its all-time record in season openers to 77-20.
