Calgary 3, Anaheim 3 (OT)

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Jarome Iginla continued his red-hot start with two goals and Dave Lowry scored with 4:02 left in the third period as the Calgary Flames skated to a 3-3 tie with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim Wednesday night.

Iginla tallied twice in the second period to raise his season total to 11, tying Washington's Peter Bondra and Carolina's Jeff O'Neill for second in the NHL.

Lowry was in the right place in the right time on the game-tying tally. Rob Niedermayer's wraparound attempt was stopped by Jean-Sebastian Giguere and scramble broke out in front of the net. The puck trickled out to Lowry, who shot it over Giguere's glove-side shoulder for his fifth goal of the season.

Calgary held a 2-1 lead before Anaheim's Steve Rucchin tied it with a power-play goal 5:46 into the third period. Paul Kariya gave the Ducks their first lead on a slapshot with 9:06 left.

It was Kariya's fifth goal in five games since ending a career-high 10-game goalless streak.

Calgary's Roman Turek stopped 31 shots, including five in overtime. He was lucky when Rucchin's slapshot with less than a minute to go bounced off the crossbar.
