DALLAS, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki, who missed one game with a sprained ankle and was not expected to play Tuesday night, scored 34 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to pace the Dallas Mavericks to a 110-92 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Dallas won for the fourth time in five games this season as its top three players came through.

Michael Finley added 31 points and Steve Nash had 16.

Nowitzki did not play at Memphis last Sunday after suffering the ankle sprain Friday night against Toronto.

The Mavericks hit 50 percent of their shots from the field and led by as many as 23 points in the third period.
