Chicago 3, Boston 3 (OT)

CHICAGO, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- The Boston Bruins stole a point from the Chicago Blackhawks Sunday night, scoring twice in the final 19 seconds of regulation to forge a 3-3 tie.

Bill Guerin and Joe Thornton scored in the closing moments of the third period after goaltender John Grahame had skated to the bench for an extra attacker.

Grahame then did his job in overtime, making a pair of superb saves on Alexei Zhamnov, including one on a breakaway with 96 seconds to play.

Sergei Samsonov assisted on all three goals for Boston, which faced one of the hottest teams in the NHL one day after totaling 46 shots in a 2-1 home loss to the New York Rangers.

Chicago was looking to improve to 4-0 on a five-game road trip that concludes Tuesday in Dallas.
