Indiana 106, Toronto 96

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Al Harrington scored 19 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 16 and 14 rebounds Wednesday night to carry the Indiana Pacers to a 106-96 exhibition victory over the Toronto Raptors.

After trailing by as many as 15 points in the third quarter, Indiana used an 11-2 run, featuring four points apiece from Reggie Miller and Austin Croshere, to pull within 82-81 heading into the fourth period.

The Pacers received key three-pointers from former Raptor Carlos Rogers and Jonathan Bender two minutes apart for a 95-90 lead with 3:24 left and did not trail the rest of the way.

Jeff Foster scored 14 points, Miller added 13 and Travis Best came off the bench for 10 points and 10 assists for Indiana (2-2). Rookie Jamaal Tinsley made his first preseason start and finished with five points and five assists in 21 minutes.

Vince Carter made just six of 25 shots for 20 points while Hakeem Olajuwon added 15 and eight rebounds for Toronto. Olajuwon, however, picked up his fifth foul with 4:42 left in the third quarter and did not return.

Rookie Carlos Arroyo scored eight points for Toronto (2-2). Raptors first-round pick Michael Bradley did not play.

Carter's poor shooting was emblematic of the team, which shot 35 percent, including five of 17 from three-point range.

Toronto swept all four regular-season meetings with Indiana last season.
